I thought the reading was interesting. I enjoyed seeing references to Hitchhikers guide since I read the book last year in class. I really enjoyed the book too. The paper was also much easier to read compared to the Brandt essay.
I think the main point Pasqualin was trying to make was that no matter who you are or what you’ve been through your experiences make you who you are today. Whether you learn from your experiences or take notes from them. I believe pasqualin has mostly moved passed his experiences, like how he struggled with school and family matters but he didn’t let those experiences hold him back.
This reading has helped me better understand and reflect in my own literacy beginnings. It will help me reflect on how my sponsors have effected me.
