My writing process usually looks like: finding my topic, doing research of the topic, breaking it up into sections, then rushing to get it done at the last second. Research to me is finding information about a subject or topic that can further your questions about the topic.

The two ideas I have for major assignment 4: a letter addressed to a friend explains MA3 and video discussing it to a casual audience . The thought for the video right now is a casual video of me in a chair with a green screen behind me. My friends and I played around with a green screen recently and it looks like a lot of fun. However I can see many problems around that idea since I haven’t used a video editing software. If that doesn’t go to plan then I see myself doing a professional slide show.

When it comes to my writing out of school its much more creative than if I was in school. If I compare my music playlist to my essays the essays would look very bland. Lately I have been trying to expand my music taste by finding new artist and seeing what my friends are listening to. With essays and school writing I feel like I haven’t grown much and have been doing the same argumentative and narrative papers since my freshman year. Comparing my music playlists to my papers really made me think about how I pushed my creativity and how little I have done that in my high school papers.

1. He considered revisions just to be format and the rules the teacher put on the paper, but when he graduated from high school and went into highs cool he thought he had a lot more freedom with his papers.
2. He went by the book and was not creative. He only went for the good grades. After college he felt he had the creative freedom and enjoyed writing a lot more.
3. Writing can answers question but can also create new ones. We think writing can give you the freedom to put down your thoughts and feelings about a subject.

I think the project could have went better but I don’t think we did terrible. We struggled a bit when it came to actually writing the papers. I wanted it to feel smooth and transition to one paragraph to the other but working with other people makes that a little difficult. I ended up having to take some initiative because the group was slowing down a bit. Other than that I thought it was fun

From my group work and readings I found knowledge is made in writing via the research you do for the writing. You gather research by taking surveys or conducting other studies to build your research. After that you can pick apart the findings and information you received and work it for your research question.

In one of my readings it said that all writing you do and will do have a piece of you in it even if its a factual peice.

If we are being honest I feel completely lost. I don’t know whether that’s because I missed a day or the communication in our group isn’t as strong as I thought. These last couple weeks have been the worst weeks of my life, with a funeral, an art history exam I need to be studying for, and a bunch of projects for my art classes. Ive been feeling all over the place recently. I don’t think we are on track with our paper and that scares me.

My generated sentence is “Reading is the same thing as paper,” I did this on my Mac book which I haven’t used as much as my phone so it might not of done exactly what we wanted.

I guess the sentence could mean that I think that reading is primarily done on paper. Im not to sure what else it could mean.

The research project is stretching my skills by not having just one answer. We are kind of let loose on this paper and its a big change for me. I don’t think I’ve really been let loose at this scale especially with a group that I barley know. I don’t know if it’s affecting my other ways of life right now though. That might come later.

So far working in a group has been nice. The communication we gave is really nice. I really like the group I am in. Personally I like working by myself so I just hold myself responsible and not stress about letting others down. I am looking forward to seeing how this group proceeds with the paper.
